Karen + David :: Wedding March 29, 2009

Karen & David were a very special couple to me personally, because their e-shoot was the first one I had assisted Lauren with and their wedding ended up to be the second last wedding of the season! The sad part/irony is that, during their e-shoot I was lost in the city and almost arrived the correct time, the same thing happened at their reception as well, the directions weren’t clear enough even with the GPS, but somehow ended up on time this time too, thank god. This couple was fun to work with and they were really meant for each other and their love was pretty obvious!
And last but not the least this is my last wedding/post for the 2008 season, looking for a challenging 2009 ahead still working with Lauren and other photographers I am yet to meet in the days to come.
Thanks to Stella my wife, family, friends and frequent blog readers for the continuous support, without which I would not have come this far!

Recap of OSPW ‘08 :: Napa, CA March 21, 2009
It’s been almost a year by now since the OSPW’08 which was held in Napa, CA quite a memorable experience. For some reasons I was digging through my photo gallery today and was curious why I never posted these on my blog, until now… and there you go another late friday night LOL… Enjoy y’ll n have nice weekend!
Joy’s Maternity Session – Treasure Island, SFO March 16, 2009
I met Joy and her family through a good friend of mine. She’s 8month pregnant and she couldn’t wait for her maternity shoot to happen…finally, because this is her second kid and she couldn’t get a maternity shoot done for her first pregnancy owing to her medical conditions. My friend Barbara, Wayne and I met Joy, her husband Pete and their 10month old Jason at treasure Island at SFO, yes…that’s where they wanted this shoot to happen as they’ve had lived her before and are personally very attached to TL. This was my first time at TL and I was carried away by the scenic beauty of this awesome location. The sunset was amazing but the weather wasn’t at its best, it was windy and freezing cold though, but Joy and her family patiently dealt with the chill weather just to capture this wonderful event in her life, I loved that attitude and sacrifice of theirs!
I tried taking my flash off camera for the first time, which I had taken sturdy light stand with me though, so dumb of me and I had to end up bugging folks to help holding the flash. End of the day it was a happy shoot and I really had a fun time shooting n chit chatting!
P.S. Did I also mention that this is my first maternity shoot? LOL… yes it is!
Kelly + Justin :: Wedding March 10, 2009

Kelly & Justin were such a humble and cute couple who were married on the October’08 in Palo Alto, CA. And for me it was the first wedding that I assisted and shot for Lauren that was close to where I live (San Jose) and I didn’t have to drive much! I’ve got to mention something about this special wedding cake, this was personally made by the bride’s aunt who is very special to the bride. Also the lil bikes on the cake is a representation of their very own bikes which means a lot to them, how sweet is that of her aunt?
And as we all know, at the end of the day its all about the love and family when it comes to a Happy Wedding!

Sanjay + Shereen :: Wedding January 31, 2009

Sanjay & Shereen’s Wedding was my last wedding shoot for the 2008 season. There could not have been a better way to end the season, it was such an awesome fun filled wedding, the couple was gorgeous and the guest were a bundle of energy who danced the night off at the reception to the DJ’s heavy kollywood music. I started to sway several instances while shooting 
as the heavy heart pounding music was irresistible. The decor had done a mind blowing job on their part. The wedding theme was peacock and the decoration could not have been represented better, there was high attention to detail in every bit. As a photographer you cannot ask for more in a Wedding!!

Bhavna + Emil :: Wedding October 31, 2008

Bhavna & Emil’s big day was the 27th of Sept 2008 and their wedding was at the SFDC (San Francisco Design Center). I was more than excited to shoot this wedding as it was going to be my long awaited Indian Wedding, being an Indian myself I was expecting a lot of colors and a energy filled ceremony and my expectation didn’t go a waste. The couple had chosen bright orange and Pink to be their colors and I felt the whole SFDC lit up so bright and it was a huge wedding. The love and energy among the couples family and friends was mindblowing. Bhavna & Emil were such a cute couple made for each other!

Melissa & Gregory’s Wedding October 1, 2008

Melissa & Gregory’s wedding was at the Presidio, SF film center. It was an amazing location, the architecture as the background added a dramatic look to the whole ceremony. I really loved the colors they had choose, maroon is one of my favorite colors as well !

Ann & Drew’s Wedding October 1, 2008

This has been a really busy month for me, both assisting weddings and transitioning to a new full-time job. I had assisted Ann & Drew’s wedding 3 weeks ago since then I’ve been striving hard to post these pics in here until now! This is the first couple I’ve assisted for whom I’ve from E-session to their Wedding, it was a fun filled wedding at Trentadue Winery in Geyserville CA among the vineyards just at the right time of the season, what more can you ask for!!
