{Shot for Yasuhara Photography}
I met Joy and her family through my good friends Barabara & Wayne. She’s 8month pregnant and she couldn’t wait for her maternity shoot to happen…finally, because this is her second kid and she couldn’t get a maternity shoot done for her first pregnancy owing to her medical conditions. My friend Barbara, Wayne and I met Joy, her husband Pete and their 10month old Jason at treasure Island at SFO, yes…that’s where they wanted this shoot to happen as they’ve had lived her before and are personally very attached to TL. This was my first time at TL and I was carried away by the scenic beauty of this awesome location. The sunset was amazing but the weather wasn’t at its best, it was windy and freezing cold though, but Joy and her family patiently dealt with the chill weather just to capture this wonderful event in her life, I loved that attitude and sacrifice of theirs!
I tried taking my flash off camera for the first time, which I had taken sturdy light stand with me though, so dumb of me and I had to end up bugging folks to help holding the flash. End of the day it was a happy shoot and I really had a fun time shooting n chit chatting!
P.S. Did I also mention that this is my first maternity shoot? LOL… yes it is!
BEAUTIFUL GERRY! For REAL!!!!!!!!!! It was fun shooting with ya! Looking forward to much more FUN! And learning….

Hey Gerry nice blurb ont he blog, they add much to the pic. By the way my name is spelled Barbara ….. LOL! Not BarAbara! LOL! Always a pleasure to shoot with ya. See ya May 2nd at the wedding, you are going to LOVE having two bodies at once, I do! The 70-200mm is a dream and your 5D with the wide angle, another dream…..our 14-24 should arrive tomorrow! Wayne has no idea, his Fathers Day gift! He is my sugar daddy afterall! LOL! Goota go look at the R straps you mentioned..
